Knowing when to ask a question

Knowing when to ask a question (and when not to) can significantly influence the level of children’s engagement, however the nature of any questions asked is even more important than the timing. Poor questions can hi-jack the child’s agenda and redirect or constrain their learning.

What others said about this webinar:

I found this webinar to be very insightful. I pride myself on asking varied questions to the children to help their learning, but I'm also one to not allow enough time for children to answer me because I've then posed another question to quickly. This webinar has given me the tools to help children's thinking and also the way I conduct myself as an educator.
