Driven by the mantra “Our curve balls don’t define us”, Jo is the founder of WorkHaven, an organisation that supports workplaces and communities to address Domestic Violence in a meaningful and relevant way. To date, the organisation has reached over 100,000 employees across Australia.

 

Jo is a passionate leader, and relentless in her mission to increase awareness to reduce the impact and incidence of domestic violence. As an innovator who believes in developing new solutions to community issues, WorkHaven created “Verdella" - a unique program that walks with people who have been affected by Domestic Violence and supports them to move forward and rebuild

We help businesses create environments where every employee feels safe, respected and supported by providing practical policies, training and support services to address domestic and family violence (DFV), sexual harassment and workplace bullying. 

Our approach reduces workplace risks, strengthens organisational culture and ensures compliance with legal and employer responsibilities.

WorkHaven was founded by leaders with lived experience of domestic and family violence (DFV) who understand how deeply these issues can affect both employees and businesses. 

What began as a personal mission has grown into a movement, partnering with organisations across industries to provide meaningful domestic violence workplace support, sexual harassment workplace support and comprehensive employee support services.
