Somewhere along the way, you decided that caring for and educating young children in your home mattered - deeply. But have you ever paused to ask yourself why you do what you do? What do you truly believe about children, learning, and the kind of educator you want to be?

Your values and beliefs inform your practice. They shape every interaction, every decision, every moment you spend with the children in your care.

This on-demand webinar with learning leader Bridgit Williams is an invitation to discover what you value as an educator, and how to be open to changing your views so that you can be the best educator you can be.

Bridgit Williams

Webinar Duration

Approximately 25 minutes

Here's what this journey will offer you:

A deeper understanding of yourself - We'll explore how your own experiences, values, and beliefs have shaped what you think matters most for children. This isn't about judging what you believe — it's about understanding where it comes from.

Permission to evolve - You'll examine whether your current beliefs still serve the children you work with today, and whether it might be time to embrace new perspectives to be the best educator you can be.

Three Key Learning Outcomes:

1. Become aware of your values and beliefs — by understanding what shapes how you see children, learning, and your role as an educator.

2. Reflect critically on your practice — examining where your practice aligns with current curriculum priorities, and where you might need to grow or shift to better support children's learning.

3. Create a daily practice grounded in what is best for children— so every decision you make, from how you set up your space to how you respond to children is in their best interests
