About the presenter

Kath Cooper (Ed.D)

Dr Kath Cooper is a passionate person who is dedicated to excellence in the ECE sector. Kath is a qualified early childhood teacher, a coffee lover, and she graduated in 2023 with her Educational Doctorate. She is the owner of Kath Cooper Coaching Services based in Wellington, where she develops, designs and delivers customised workshops, ensuring her training is relevant, real and timely. A natural and fun facilitator with more than 24 years teaching and facilitating experience, Kath’s easy and relaxed style puts participants at ease. She is trained in Four Tendencies, Gallup Strengths Coaching, Rider & Elephants Emotional Culture Deck, and Incredible Years programmes. Kath's research interests also focuses on inclusion and visibility. Her Doctorate is called “I just treated them as normal” and focused on how ECE teachers supported Rainbow families. She is passionate about celebrating diversity, and being around people who love to learn and take on new ideas. Kath lives with her wife Jody, and their two dogs, Goldie and Dolly.
